Texas Tech is expected to spend up to $55 million this year on its athletes when combining direct NIL and institutional funds, per The New York Times. That figure puts Texas Tech at the forefront of the Big 12 and the national NIL conversation.
The impact these donations have on Red Raider athletics is massive. With stable NIL support, Texas Tech can keep more of its players, attract top recruits, and become a top choice in football, basketball, and other sports.
