The Cleveland Browns have been no stranger to less-than-ideal play from the quarterback position. For the Cleveland Guardians in the MLB, they've actually been built on their pitching for any sort of recent success. Now, even their blunders are making life harder on the Browns.
The Browns cannot even avoid getting flak for their history at the quarterback position when it comes to the MLB. The Blue Jays toyed with the Cleveland Guardians and Browns both with a lowlight post on social media Thursday afternoon.

Their caption, of course, relates to what feels like a lifetime (and truly is) of struggles at the QB position for the Browns.
Everyone who follows the NFL somewhat closely understands how awful the situation and starting QB has been on a nearly annual basis. This year, they've tried to add multiple different option, young and old, to find success at the position.
Will it work? history and the Blue Jays say probably not.
As of now, during the league's most dead period of the offseason, the Browns have five QBs. We will certainly see that room trimmed down once the preseason wraps up for Cleveland. Who will remain on the roster? We'll see in the coming months.
Pickett is a failed former first-round pick of the Pittsburgh Steelers. Flacco is 40 years old. Sanders and Gabriel are both rookies, the latter of which was surprisingly selected before the other in the 2025 NFL Draft.
It is hard to expect this group will break the trend and possible "curse" around Cleveland's franchise when it comes to finding a long-term, franchise quarterback. Only time will tell, though. Regardless, even baseball teams are poking fun at the Browns for their issues - past and present.
