The Wisconsin football staff has had a slew of visitors this past week, including one this afternoon coming all the way from Arizona.
Jalayne Miller, an offensive lineman, is a four-star recruit in the 2026 class and someone who has risen on the boards for Wisconsin as of late. Miller is still feeling out the recruiting process and “enjoying” everything as time goes on. However, the lineman booked four official visits with Wisconsin, Auburn, Stanford, and USC who are the presumed final four schools.
Ahead of his visit with Wisconsin, Miller had the chance to visit both Auburn and Stanford which were two productive visits for the recruit. When speaking about the recent Stanford visit, Miller stated, “Overall the experience was great, I had a lot of one-on-one time with different coaches. The facilities are great. The weather was amazing when we went, so my mom and I had a great time.”
While some recruits may look to take a solo approach to the recruiting process, Miller and his mother have taken on the process together.

With Miller set to step foot onto campus this afternoon, the Wisconsin football staff will receive a similar chance to impress the recruit in Madison.
Miller, a four-star offensive lineman, is one of the top targets along the line for the Badgers since arriving on the radar. The recruit currently ranks as the 275th overall player in the 2026 class and it has not been hard to see why on the field. The powerful, agile play-style of Miller is a hard one to replicate and many coaches feel that Miller will excel at the collegiate level.
With the Wisconsin football program hosting Miller, the recruit was asked about his thoughts heading into the visit. Miller stated, “The coaches talk highly of the area and the state so I’m excited to experience the food!”
As a native of Arizona, traveling to various different schools can be quite difficult and time consuming. Each visit is that much more valuable and meaningful for the school especially in the recruitment of Miller.
Wisconsin will have to make Miller feel at home before the recruit begins to think about a possible commitment decision down the line. Both Stanford and Auburn have been heavily linked to Miller and arose as possible favorites to land Miller after securing visits. USC has also become a school to watch, aiming to keep Miller closer to home and add to the current top-ranked 2026 class.
In-state powerhouse Arizona State was also linked to Miller, but unfortunately will not secure an official visit. The recruit has booked four official visits already and feels that this list will round out official visit season.
