The Indianapolis Colts have had multiple players in for pre-draft visits this year, but none as big as the one happening on Thursday.

Plenty interest in the explosive Nabers, considered WR1 for some teams. pic.twitter.com/gVOXwrZzZt
Nabers began his college career at LSU in 2021, and during his three seasons, he recorded 189 catches for 3,003 receiving yards and 21 touchdowns. His best season came last, helping him be named an All-American for the first and only time after setting career highs across the board with 89 catches, 1,569 yards, and 14 touchdowns. His 1,569 receiving yards was the most of any player in the SEC last season, and his 14 touchdowns were the second most of any player in the SEC, only behind his teammate Brian Thomas Jr.
Many believe the top three WRs in the 2024 NFL Draft class are in a tier of their own in a stacked class. Those three players are Ohio State's Marvin Harrison Jr., Washington's Rome Odunze, and Nabers. All three are projected to be drafted before the Colts first-round pick at 15. But that hasn't stopped them from meeting with Odunze at the Scouting Combine and now setting up a pre-draft visit with Nabers.
It seems fair to assume for the Colts to land a talent like Nabers, it would require a trade into at least the top ten, and even that wouldn't guarantee them a shot at the WR. And if they were to trade up, it would be the first time the Colts have traded up in round one during Chris Ballards' time as their GM. But the fact that this pre-draft visit is happening tells you that Nabers and his team believe the Colts would at least entertain the idea of trading up for him, or they wouldn't bother traveling to Indianapolis at all.
