The last new live-action Star Wars of 2025 is about to hit Disney+. After Andor Season 2 concludes with its final three episodes, there will almost certainly be zero new Star Wars live-action events until next year, when The Mandalorian & Grogu arrives in theaters. After launching in 2022, the finale of Star Wars: Andor represents the end of the titular character's journey. And that's because the end of Episode 12 of Season 2 will take us right up to the events of the 2016 movie Rogue One.

Yes, in theory, we know how this story ends. But the Andor finale will surprise even the most detail-oriented Star Wars fan. Some people might see the final twist of Episode 12 coming, but for the Forceful faithful, the Andor finale has to be seen to be believed. No spoilers ahead.

When is the Andor Finale Release Date?

The last three episodes of Andor, Episodes 10, 11, and 12, hit Disney+ on Tuesday, May 13. These are the last episodes in Andor. Since 2022, there has never been a plan for more than two seasons of the show. Andor has not been cancelled. The story will end just before the prequel movie Rogue One, which, of course, takes place just before the original Star Wars movie, A New Hope.

What Time Does the Andor Finale Stream?

Episodes 10, 11, and 12 of Andor Season 2 will hit Disney+ on Tuesday night at 9 p.m. EDT and 6 p.m. PDT. It is unclear if future Star Wars TV shows — like Ahsoka Season 2 in 2026 — will continue to be released in the evenings. But, before midnight on Tuesday, those who are staying up will have seen all of Andor.

The Andor Finale Timeline, Explained

The last three episodes of Andor take place in, and throughout, 1 BBY, which is Star Wars speak for "1 year before the Battle of Yavin." This means that by the end of Episode 12, events of Andor will have to directly lead into the beginning of Rogue One.

By the end of Episode 9, the Rebels still don't know about the Death Star, but by the end of Episode 12, they have to. In Episode 9, Bail Organa, Leia's dad, tells Mon Mothma he'll meet her in Yavin "next year." That year will be the lead-up to the most famous period of Star Wars. And, Bail Organa and Cassian himself are totally doomed.

So, what will the Andor finale tell us that we don't already know? For fans of the show, that's hardly the question. Andor has bigger fish to fry than just connecting dots. After this, nothing will be the same.
