 (2) YNG Dreamerz 96, (7) Blue Checks 89 (YNG leads 1-0)

The second seeded YNG Dreamerz survived a scare from the Blue Checks in the first game of the playoffs, pulling away late for a 96-89 victory. The Blue Checks kept the game close for almost the entirety of the night, cutting the Dreamerz lead to two with 4:37 left in the fourth. Isaac Ellis showed why he was named the 2025-26 OTE MVP, scoring a playoff career-high 45 points, the second most of any player ever in the OTE Playoffs

Caleb Jones did an excellent job in a complementary scoring role, notching 28 points while also logging five boards. Matt Allen came up just shy of a double-double but he did play a massive role on the boards, logging ten rebounds to lead all players in the stat

For the Blue Checks, Santonio Waide kept the team in it from start to finish, leading the team with 17 points while also continuing to show off his passing acumen with eight assists. Angelo Dickerson III grows more comfortable in his role with each passing day which was evidenced by his 15 points and eight rebounds in this one
