There's Speculation Brewing About Taylor Rooks' Relationship With Joy Taylor

There was a lot of excitement in spring of last year when Taylor Rooks and Joy Taylor announced they were joining forces on a new podcast called "Two Personal."

The show was supposed to showcase two of sports media's leading women in a new light — delving into topics such as dating and their perspectives on wider issues. However, Rooks quietly stepped away from the pod not too long ago to "temporarily" focus on her NBA and NFL responsibilities.

Now though, in light of the recent allegations made against Taylor by a FOX Sports 1 colleague, many are starting to wonder if Rooks maybe knew something was coming down the pike.

Joy is accused in the FS1 lawsuit of not only sleeping with a network executive while she was married and using her sexuality to further her career, but also of having a romantic relationship with former "Speak" co-host Emmanuel Acho and allegedly saying that she'd fabricate a story about the FOX exec assaulting her in order to cover her tracks.

Rooks' name has since been removed from the "Two Personal" bio and all of the show's social media channels appear to be centered around Taylor now — leading to questions from viewers about the true reason for the change.

"Is any of this the reason Taylor Rooks quietly left their podcast?" a user asked.

"Is that why Taylor Rooks left her podcast with Joy Taylor? She knew something was coming??" another wondered

"Joy Taylor [expletive] her way to the top? Least shocking thing I learned so far this year. Now we know why Taylor Rooks dipped from that podcast after a month," a fan said.

"Makes sense why Taylor Rooks distanced herself from Joy Taylor now lol," another person laughed.

All of this is just speculation and hearsay right now. But given the explosiveness of the claims made against Taylor, it's easy to see why Rooks would choose to distance herself if she had an idea that all of this was about to come out.

FOX has also released a statement on the allegations saying that the network takes them seriously and will not provide further comment during the pending litigation.
