Brent Key and Georgia Tech picked up a recruiting win on Tuesday. Carrollton (Georgia) three-star linebacker CJ Gamble announced his commitment to the program.

I’m excited to announce my commitment to Georgia Tech,” Gamble wrote on X announcing his decision. “I want to thank God, my family, coaches and teammates for making this possible. Let’s work.”

Gamble chose to stay home over Tennessee, Kansas, Memphis, Wake Forest, and USF. The 6-foot-1, 200-pounder goes to GT as the No. 52 linebacker in the country. He's also noted as the No. 68 overall player in the state of Georgia.

Key and his staff reel in another outstanding in-state prospect. Gamble was high on the Jackets list after Carrollton appeared in the state title game last December. They won 14 games last season with top QB Julian Lewis under center, finishing as the No. 11 team in the nation, according to the On3.

Georgia Tech has inked 24 high school prospects for a top 25 class in 2026. The group is led by safety Tae Harris and offensive lineman Josh Petty. Both are ranked in the top-100 prospects, according to 247Sports.
