The Oklahoma Sooners just landed a celebrated four-star commitment, and one of their quarterbacks has a short message in response.
Beau Jandreau has committed to OU, joining his twin Niko Jandreau in the 2026 class.
The exciting news broke on Instagram in a message shared by Hayes Fawcett that Beau was tagged in.
Bowe Bentley replied with a supportive two-word message that simply read, "Welcome home!"
Bentley — a highly-sought after quarterback — just committed to OU himself on June 20.
He's the No. 7 quarterback ranked nationally per 247 Sports, and ranked No. 78 overall in the country. His commitment to OU was a big win for the university, as was landing both the Jandreau twins.
Niko and Beau are identical twins and they dreamed of continuing their careers at the same schools, AZ Central reported. Beau committed to OU a month after Niko. Their father, JP Jandreau, said recruiting was a whirlwind of excitement mixed with tough choices.
JP told AZ Central, "Even though he and Niko are extremely close and are identical twins, it was important that they were given the opportunity to take their own journey and make their own decisions... It’s been a dream for the boys and our family that not only would they have the opportunity to play at the collegiate level, but to be on the field together."
JP said that Beau told his mother about his decision before anyone else, and she was sworn to secrecy.
The Jandreau twins are seniors this fall and will be starting their college careers in 2026.
