The Penn State football team looks to build on the 2025 recruiting class. It all starts in the trenches for the Nittany Lions. Penn State can run the ball and protect the quarterback with a solid foundation. Both the running back and quarterback position are in great shape in 2025. However, you can never have enough talented offensive linemen. That’s where Ziyare Addison fits what Penn State wants to build upfront. The talented offensive tackle recently closed in on his final college choices.

Penn State football priority 2025 OT closes in on college decision

On Thursday, Ziyare Addison narrowed his college choices down to his final nine schools. Hayes Fawcett of On3 announced that he included schools such as Oregon, Georgia, Florida State, Florida, UCLA, Stanford, Michigan, and Penn State.

Addison is a member of the 2025 recruiting class where he plays offensive tackle. Standing at 6-4 280 pounds, the Tampa, Florida native is one of the top offensive line prospects in the country. On3 lists Fawcett as the No. 14 OT in the cycle and the 25 player in Florida. With several upcoming official visits, Addison is closing in on his final decision.

When will Addison return to Happy Valley?

Ziyare Addison has been to State College twice during his recruitment unofficially. He stepped foot on campus on February 3rd, 2024 for the first time and most recently visited on March 9, 2024. He will return to Happy Valley on June 14 for his official visit. The Nittany Lions need to use this time to make a lasting impression on one of the top uncommitted prospects in the 2025 recruiting class.

Outside of Penn State, Addison will also visit Florida on May 31, Oregon on June 7, and then after his trip to Penn State, he will visit Florida State on June 21. The Seminoles lead the way, according to On3, with a 69% chance to land him. If the Nittany Lions can secure Michael Carroll and Ziyare Addison in the 2025 recruiting class, the offensive line will be in great shape.
