The Dallas Cowboys are committed to building a young dominant offensive line and may have found their next cornerstone in Tyler Booker. Dallas took Booker 12th overall in the 2025 NFL Draft and they expect him to be their starting right guard this upcoming season. …
And for a long time after that.
Cowboys legend Nate Newton recently spoke to ALL DLLS and had positive things to say about the Alabama Crimson Tide lineman.
“They went with offensive lineman Tyler Booker—I’m excited, I give them an A-plus on the draft. I haven’t seen him play, the ‘Soul Snatcher,’ so I’ll wait and see,” Newton said.
We bet Big Nate is liking it more every day now.
Booker plays the game of football violently and with a relentless motor. His nickname, the “Soul Snatcher,” stems from his mentality on the field and unwavering willingness to battle opposing defensive lineman.
“I just love the aggressiveness and the tenacity of the game of football. It’s legal assault out there,” Booker said. “I love football. The brand of football I play, I make guys not love football anymore.”
Dallas hired former Arizona Cardinals offensive line coach Klayton Adams to be their offensive coordinator this season. Head coach Brian Schottenheimer and Adams will look to bring creativity to a new look Cowboys offense that looks to dominate in the trenches.
An effective running game will open up the play-action passing game for the Cowboys, where quarterback Dak Prescott can thrive with the many weapons at his disposal.
With Booker in the trenches, the Cowboys offense doesn’t just get tougher—it gets meaner, with the soul-snatching attitude they’ve been missing.
