As summer dwindles down, the start of football season has only just arrived.
UCLA football are represented across 21 of the NFL's franchises as training camp training camp gets underway. Many of the Bruin alumni already have full guaranteed contracts, but there are a few who are still trying to grab one of the coveted 53 roster spots allotted to each team.
The Green Bay Packers lead the bunch, boasting four former Bruins on their active roster, followed by the Las Vegas Raiders and New England Patriots with three each.
UCLA also has a pretty decent claim to their fan-proclaimed title of "Linebacker University," with seven of the Bruins' former linebackers making the training camp roster of NFL teams.
Overall, there are 31 former UCLA players appearing in NFL training camp. Teams will trim their rosters from 90 to 85 on Aug. 17, 80 by Aug. 24 and 53 by Aug. 31.
