Unfortunately, parents fighting during youth sports games is a reality that happens across America from time to time.
Last weekend, things got hairy during a Pee Wee hockey game in Fargo, North Dakota. As the game came to a close and players were going through conditioning on the ice, a group of parents got into a physical altercation. According to InForum.com, one parent appeared to shove players coming off the ice. At one point, punches are exchanged between multiple parties, including between a man and a woman.
The woman can be seen attempting to trip one man as he walks by, which results in a second man shoving her, leading to more punching and shoving.
The Fargo Youth Hockey Association says suspensions have been issued.
"Fargo Youth Hockey Association was immediately made aware of the incident that followed a youth hockey game on Saturday, February 22nd," the league said in a statement. "FYHA has a strict code of conduct and adheres to USA Hockey and North Dakota Amateur Hockey Association code-of-conduct guidelines for parents, players and coaches. FYHA does not condone this type of behavior and club suspensions were issued Sunday morning to those involved."
You can see the full incident unfold below. At the beginning of the video, there was a little bit of a confrontation on the ice between players from both teams, but nothing out of the ordinary from what typically happens during games.
It's a shame that the parents had to take it to another level.

"It's a black eye for hockey, it's a black eye for Fargo youth sports," said Bradford Strand, a professor in health, nutrition, and exercise sciences at North Dakota State University.
Hopefully, whoever was involved in this incident has learned his or her lesson.
