The Curva Nord will stage a fan protest at the San Siro in the first half of Inter Milan’s Serie A opening match against Torino.
This according to today’s print edition of Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan are just one day away from the start of their Serie A season.
The Nerazzurri kick off their campaign against Torino on Monday. They host the Granata at the San Siro in their first match of the season.
This will be the first Serie A match in charge of Inter for new coach Cristian Chivu.
Meanwhile, some new faces who have arrived during the summer transfer window will also have a chance to make their debuts.
Inter’s opener comes amid a backdrop of some unrest with ultras group the Curva Nord.
Last month, the group condemned “unprecedented abuse” by the club over the handling of matchdays.
The Nord’s complaints included higher ticket prices, and restrictions on chants and choreography.
Furthermore, the Inter ultras group fumed at the fact that many of their members were unable to purchase season tickets.
Therefore, Tuttosport report, there will be a Nord protest in the first half of tomorrow’s match.
