The Michigan State Spartans may have found a diamond in the rough at their 7-on-7 tournament on Sunday, and the Class of 2027 wide receiver walked out of East Lansing with an offer from the program.

East St. Louis (Ill.) prospect Ronnie Gomiller has flown under the radar so far, only nabbing offers from Indiana, Kansas State, Maryland, and Miami (OH) early in his recruitment. Gomiller made an appearance at Michigan State's 7-on-7 Sunday, and hauled in at least one touchdown pass. 247Sports' Allen Trieu shared a video of Gomiller breaking open across the middle of the field and catching a pass near the 30-yard line before outrunning nearly every defender in the secondary to score.

Not long after the footage appeared online, Gomiller shared on X, formerly known as Twitter, that he had been extended an offer by the Spartans. The under-the-radar 2027 wideout is currently unranked by the major recruiting databases, but will likely be continuing to turn heads.

He is coming off an impressive sophomore season where he helped lead East St. Louis to a 13-1 record and their 11th Illinois High School Association (ISHA) Class 6A State Championship, including a massive championship game effort where he hauled in five receptions for 128 yards and two touchdowns.

He has continued to build himself a reputation as a potential FBS talent this offseason with a number of big performances at an Under Armour camp and some impressive plays on the 7-on-7 circuit. he will certainly be a name to keep an eye on for Michigan State football fans as his recruitment develops.
