The University of Florida has emerged victorious in the 2025 Collegiate Cricket League (CCL) final, defeating the University of Washington by 6 wickets at the Lone Star Cricket Ground 1 on April 20, 2025.

After winning the toss, the University of Washington chose to bat first, but their innings was quickly halted by Florida's strong bowling attack. Washington was restricted to a modest total of 71/9 in their allotted 10 overs. Despite a few resistance efforts, Florida's bowlers kept them under control throughout the innings.

In response, the University of Florida chased down the target with ease, reaching 72/4 in just 8.4 overs. Siddhant Panda was the star of the chase, contributing with both bat and ball and earning the Player of the Match award. His performance, along with solid support from his teammates, secured Florida's comfortable win and the CCL 2025 trophy.

As champions, the University of Florida walked away with the winner's trophy and a substantial $10,000 in prize money.
