Vanroose finishes 41st in U20 European Cross Country Championships

In Brussels, Belgium, University of Louisville cross country freshman Rhune Vanroose put an end to her fall season with an impressive performance at the U20 European Cross Country Championships. Vanroose finished in 41st place overall in the U20 women’s 5K race, contributing to her home country’s sixth-place finish in the competition.

The end of the cross country season means that Vanroose and the rest of the Cardinals will now shift their focus to the indoor track & field campaign. Their next event will be the Rod McCravy Memorial Invite, scheduled for January 12-13.
