Virgil Abloh Securities and Cactus Jack Announce Third Annual Virgil Abloh Invitational Dec 7 in Miami

"Virgil Abloh Securities and Architecture are proud to announce the third annual Abloh Invitational, a daylong celebration of skateboarding, community, and creativity taking place on December 7, 2024, at the Lot 11 Skatepark in Miami, Florida.

This year’s Invitational is proud to welcome Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack as the presenting partner, bringing its innovative creative vision to life. Throughout the event, Cactus Jack’s cultural influence will be on full display, blending art, fashion, music, and sport. The brand will shape the experience with custom-designed skate obstacles and exclusive co-branded merchandise, developed in collaboration with Architecture.

The event continues Virgil Abloh’s enduring legacy of merging the worlds of creative culture and skateboarding while fostering community through innovative design and collaborative spirit.

Attendees can look forward to a range of activities, including free skate lessons, screenprinting workshops, and the return of the signature Abloh Invitational demo led by dozens of professional skaters from around the country. The event will culminate in an open skate session, all anchored by a curated DJ and music lineup.

The Invitational will also feature contributions from icons in skate culture, including photographer Atiba Jefferson, skate director of Architecture and on-site documentarian, Davonte Jolly as the Invitational’s official filmer, designer Jonathan Olivares, and Supreme as an additional supporting sponsor.
