Florida State vs. Notre Dame: The No. 7 ranked Notre Dame Fighting Irish came away with an impressive 70-47 home win over the No. 24 Florida State Seminoles on Thursday. After a defensive battle in the first half, the Irish got hot in the second stanza. Sonia Citron led all scorers with 19 points on 6-11 shooting to go along with 7 rebounds in the win. Lauren Ebo played very well in her first start, finishing with 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Irish. FSU star freshman Ta'Niya Latson was held to single digits for the 1st time this season with 9 points on 3-11 shooting in the loss. The Notre Dame defense was stout, holding the 'Noles to just 28% shooting in the game.
