It was a Friday night thriller in Charlottesville that saw Virginia and Florida State tied at 35 and needing overtime to settle it. After each team kicked a field goal to open OT, Virginia quarterback Chandler Morris rushed in the touchdown and the Cavaliers converted the 2-point conversion. The Seminoles failed to score on their next try and the Cavaliers won, 46-38. Morris threw for 229 yards and 2 touchdowns and rushed for 3 more touchdowns to lead the Cavaliers. Running Back J’Mari Taylor rushed for 99 yards and a touchdown as well for Virginia. Seminoles QB Tommy Castellanos passed for 254 yards and a touchdown and rushed for another 78 yards and 1 TD in the loss. FSU Wide Receiver Duce Robinson caught 9 passes for 147 yards and a touchdown.
