An episode involving handbags.

There’s nothing wrong with a bit of argy-bargy and I prefer to see it when our players are in Red.

England fought out a 1-1 draw with Poland and the first-half of tonight’s World Cup qualifier ended with drama, i.e., pushing and shoving.

It all kicked off after Kamil Glik pinched the throat of Kyle Walker as he argued with the Man City right-back. This was before his tussle with United skipper Harry Maguire.

Footage courtesy of ITV and Virgin Media:

Maguire only really got going when he saw Glik and Walker continuing to grapple each other when a free-kick was on the way in.

He was seen screaming towards Glik and having a word with the referee. Both players were booked as a result of their behaviour.
