France national team manager Didier Deschamps announced his squad for the upcoming 2022 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers. Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappé earned a call up as the 22-year-old looks to get back on track following his performance at the UEFA Euros.

As Deschamps spoke to the media, the French tactician faced a question regarding his thoughts on the ongoing Mbappé contract extension saga with Real Madrid mounting an attack to land the forward this summer.

Deschamps decided to sidestep the question and stated he has no information on the ins and outs of the rumor, with Canal Supporters relaying the comments.

“The future of Kylian Mbappé? I cannot answer for him. I don’t have the ins and outs. The transfer window is Tuesday evening, so it coincides with the day before the match against Bosnia. It is not ideal. I’m not going to fight this. Mbappé could, like others, change clubs. It is their decision, their career; I am not in their place. I can, at the most, advise them,” Deschamps said.
