Watch Incoming Penn State Football WR Earn MVP Honors After Dominating Big 33 Game
Penn State Football Penn State wide receiver Kaden Saunder pulls holds onto a catch during the Blue-White game at Beaver Stadium on Saturday, April 13, 2024, in State College. The White team defeated the Blue team, 27-0.

Following spring practice, Penn State Football is still looking for wide receivers to separate themselves from the pack ahead of the 2024 season.

While not yet on campus, one incoming freshman wide receiver, Tyseer Denmark, certainly threw his proverbial hat in the ring Sunday, earning MVP honors from Pennsylvania’s Big 33 game ahead of his enrollment this summer.

The three-star wide receiver from Imhotep Institute in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, showed off quite a range of skills Sunday as he caught three touchdown passes in the first half of team Pennsylvania’s win over team Maryland.

Penn State Football WR Tyseer Denmark Dominates Big 33

For his first touchdown, Denmark went up and over a Maryland cornerback to make a tough contested catch in the corner of the endzone for a 21-yard touchdown to give team Pennsylvania its first score of the game.

Denmark’s second touchdown was a long 52-yard touchdown as he scored making a contested catch and knocking over a defender.

For the third touchdown, Denmark showed off a nice ability to catch a difficult ball over his head for a 24-yard touchdown in the middle of the endzone to put team Pennsylvania up 31-0 before half.

What Tyseer Denmark Could Bring Penn State

Denmark earned MVP honors for his performance ahead of his enrollment this summer at Penn State.

While Denmark will have an uphill battle to earn playing time without being able to enroll early for spring practice, but if he can perform to the level he played at during the Big 33 game, he will push for playing time after having a chance to learn the playbook and get adjusted to the college game.

Nittany Lions fans should be excited for what looks like a bright future for this in-state prospect heading to campus in just a few weeks.
