Louisville freshman star Mikel Brown Jr. quickly made a huge impact for Louisville with his scoring, athleticism, and playmaking ability despite dealing with injuries early in his career. A preseason First Team All-ACC honoree and elite freshman recruit, Brown’s ability to attack off the dribble and finish in transition made him a dynamic contributor in every matchup. Brown averaged 18.2 points, 4.7 assists and 3.3 rebounds per game in just 21 contests.
