Miami vs. Duke: The 6th-seeded Blue Devils topped the 11th-seeded Hurricanes, 8-2, to advance to the 2024 ACC Baseball Championship Game. It is the second time in school history that Duke has advanced to the final game, with the other time coming in 2021. Miami started the game well. Starting pitcher Herick Hernandez struck out nine and let up only one run over the first five innings, and third baseman Daniel Couvet hit a 2-run home run to give the Hurricanes the lead. The home run was Cuvet's 24th of the season setting a new Miami freshman record. Duke tied up the game, and then in the eighth inning, catcher Alex Stone hit a 2-run home run to give Duke the lead, and he was soon followed by Devin Obee who hit a 2-run home run of his own. Duke would score 6 of their 8 total runs in the bottom of the eighth inning. The Blue Devils will face Florida State in the championship game.
