The Stanford Cardinal knocked off Notre Dame, 3-2 in the 2024 ACC Men's Soccer Championships. Notre Dame scored late in the 2nd Half to tie the game at 2 on a Mitch Ferguson goal. Eleven seconds later, Dylan Hooper scored the game-winning goal as he launched it from beyond midfield and it soared over the goalie's head for the win. Stanford advances to the quarterfinals to play Clemson.
