SMU head women's basketball coach Toyelle Wilson spoke with the ACC Digital Network about the Mustangs becoming new members of the ACC. Wilson was extremely excited for her team to be able to take a step up in competition and play in what she believes is the best women's basketball conference in the country. She spoke about how not only she and the returning SMU players are excited about the change, but also being able to play in the ACC has become a major selling point in Southern Methodist's recruiting pitch, and it seems to be working as the team has added eight new players this offseason.
