Syracuse vs. Georgetown: The Syracuse Orange went on the road and won a very emotional game against long-time rival Georgetown, 80-68. Judah Mintz was outstanding, scoring a game-high 25 points on 6-12 from the field and 13-15 from the FT line. J.J. Starling added 21 points on 8-14 shooting and Quadir Copeland finished with a strong 14 point showing. The Orange ran all day, putting up 20 fast break points compared to Georgetown's 2 fast break points.
