Watch: Team Whistle celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month with Latinx focused season of flagship 'No Days Off' program

Team Whistle, the global sports media and entertainment company, announced that they will be celebrating Hispanic Heritage Month with a special new season of their docu-series "No Days Off" series, where they will exclusively spotlight Latinx athletes.

‘No Days Off’ profiles remarkable teen athletes whose drive and motivation have allowed them to overcome barriers to get to where they are today. The franchise has released 250 episodes, racking up 3 billion views to date, and the brand’s YouTube page has a whopping 2.61 million subscribers. 

“At Whistle, we make it our priority to spotlight diverse young athletes from all backgrounds and walks of life. It was important to us to honor Hispanic Heritage Month and spotlight young athletes from such an important culture that has given so much to us over the years, said Karen Jaimes, VP of Creative and Post Production at Team Whistle. “As a member of the community myself, being born in Colombia, I was personally delighted to have the chance to give the spotlight and accolades to a very deserving group of people.” 

In addition to its longform ‘No Days Off’ episodes, Whistle collaborated with artist Astrid Lorenzo to create original signature celebratory illustrations which will be used across Whistle's social handles over the course of the month to honor some of the great Latinx athletes. Subjects include MLB legend Albert Pujols, soccer stars Janelly Farias Rodríguez and Sofia Christine Huerta, as well as NBA big-man Juan Toscano-Anderson.
