Watch: UCLA vs. Florida State Softball Highlights (2023)

UCLA vs. Florida State: In an early season Top 10 matchup, the #7 Seminoles went down to the 2nd-ranked Bruins, 6-4. After falling behind in the top of the sixth inning, Florida State tied the game at 4 after a two-run single by Josie Muffley in the bottom of the inning. However, a two-run single by Megan Grant in the top of the seventh inning ended up being the game-winning hit for UCLA. For Florida State, Mack Leonard pitched four shutout innings, allowing only one hit. Muffley was 2-3 with three RBI and a run scored. For UCLA, Kegan Faraimo came in in relief and pitched 5.2 innings striking out nine Seminoles on her way to a win.
