Wake Forest running back Demond Claiborne was a blur during his career in Winston-Salem and one of the most intriguing prospects in the 2026 NFL Draft. At 5'10" and 188 pounds he was a big presence every time he stepped on the field. Claiborne finished his Wake Forest career with 3,602 (2,599 Rushing) all-purpose yards that included 30 all-purpose scores via rushing, receiving and as a potent kickoff returner. At the 2026 NFL Combine he burned down the 40-yard dash with a 4.37 40-yard dash that was third amongst all participants at his position. Claiborne was a two-time All-ACC recipient throughout his career as a running back and as an all-purpose back.
