The obvious answer to the Miami Hurricanes was that they were going to climb in both AP and USA Today Coaches Polls, but the question was where?

Those have been answered as the latest polls have pushed the Hurricanes inside the Top 10, with the Associated Press ranking the Canes as the No. 5 team in the country, while the Coaches poll listed the Canes as the No. 7 team in the country.

Miami (1-0, 0-0 ACC) is the highest-ranked team in the Atlantic Coast Conference, which also includes No. 8 Clemson (0-1, 0-0), No. 14 Florida State (1-0, 0-0), and No. 17 SMU (1-0, 0-0).
