Tai Phillips feels his Alabama offer carries a lot of weight.
Phillips is a product of Cape Fear High School in Fayetteville, North Carolina, and he is a 2027 prospect. He now holds offers from Alabama, Ohio State, North Carolina State and others.
Phillips’ Alabama offer marks a significant moment in his recruitment.
“It definitely means the world to me,” Phillips said. “When you think of college football, Alabama is always the main topic. I’ve always envisioned myself running in crimson and white ever since I was a kid and now that I can make that a reality, it is surreal to me.”
At 5-foot-11 and 188 pounds, Phillips is a tenacious and explosive runner of the football who displays patience and vision while looking for space as he blocks develop.
“I think I bring a special juice to my team with my ability to make big plays in any given situation and the heart I put into the game with always wanting to compete beyond my best ability,” Phillips told Touchdown Alabama.
The Crimson Tide are set to continue to recruit Phillips.
