Will Smith is set to unite with director Michael Bay for an action-packed Netflix exclusive.
In Fast and Loose, Smith plays a man who wakes up with no memories and a shattered life that’s been split into two different personas. One of them is a crime kingpin, while the other is an undercover CIA agent.
Bay directed Smith in the first ever Bad Boys movie in 1995, so their relationship dates back 30 years. They teamed up once again in 2003 for Bad Boys II in 2003. With Bad Boys: Ride or Die lighting up the box office with a $400 million haul, however, it’s as good a time as ever to collaborate again.
While a deal isn’t officially closed, reports Deadline, Michael Bay is in final negotiations to make Fast and Loose his next film. Smith is “dropping out of the thriller Sugar Bandits, which was potentially lining up as his next project; once he parted ways with that film, the town was abuzz over what Smith might do next.”
Bay’s delivered Netflix exclusives before in 2019’s 6 Underground, as well as 2022’s Ambulance. There’s no release date for Fast and Loose yet.
