Wisconsin got into the mix early for Scott, becoming the fourth school to offer him in December 2022. He was also one of UW's earlier commits in the cycle, announcing his commitment in January following a junior day visit.
Scott was a sought-after prospect prior to his commitment, picking up 23 offers. Wisconsin beat out Miami, Michigan, Penn State, Tennessee, Purdue, Indiana, Michigan State, and several others for the four-star cornerback.
The Mt. Healthy High School standout has experience on both sides of the ball, playing at defensive back and wide receiver. Scott has the versatility to play at safety or on the boundary, which could make him an interesting chess piece in Mike Tressel's defense. The 6-foot-1, 177-pound athlete has excellent speed and physicality, making him a threat against the run. He's also a ball hawk at defensive back, recording seven interceptions in his senior season. With his skillset, watch for him to get some early opportunities.
