Four-star offensive lineman Logan Powell trimmed his list of schools down to five, and the Wisconsin football program was among those who made the cut.

The Arizona native listed the Badgers alongside Alabama, Oklahoma, Tennessee, and Arizona State.

According to the composite rankings, Powell is the No. 519 player in the nation, the No. 42 OT, and the No. 5 player in Arizona. It’s worth noting that 247Sports has him ranked as the No. 24 OT in the country and Arizona’s No. 1 player.

Wisconsin jumped into the mix early for Powell, becoming the sixth school to extend an offer in January of 2023. The Arizona native has compiled 25 total offers, with notable programs such as Michigan, Washington, USC, Oregon, Purdue, Minnesota, Texas A&M, and many others throwing their hats in the ring.

Powell made an in-season stop at UW during the matchup against Iowa. He currently has an official visit set with Arizona State for the first weekend in June, and the Badgers should get one of their own now that they’ve made the top choices.

The 6-foot-4, 280-pound tackle moves very well for his size. His junior highlight reel shows his ability to keep balance and use his leverage to overpower opposing players. Powell is physical and has the athleticism that could make him a great fit under Badgers OL coach AJ Blazek.

UW currently holds an offensive line commitment from Wautoma native Michael Roeske in the 2025 cycle. Luke Fickell and company have lost out on a few key offensive line recruiting battles thus far, but they have the option to be pickier after taking five offensive linemen in the 2024 cycle.

As it stands, the Wisconsin football program holds eight commitments in the 2025 class, good for the No. 21 class in the nation.
