Hilton is the son of former All-Pro NFL wide receiver T.Y. Hilton. Matt Mitchell and Kenny Guiton deserve a lot of credit for landing the Indiana native's commitment, as Georgia was seen as the leader at one point in time. After UW was able to get him on campus for an official visit in the summer, though, they were able to wrap up his recruitment just a week later.
The 6-foot-2, 195-pound receiver chose Wisconsin over offers from some big-time programs, including Georgia, Miami, Ole Miss, Missouri, Kansas, Michigan, Arkansas, Cincinnati, and many others. Now that he has made things official, Hilton is officially Wisconsin's first four-star wide receiver signee since Danny Davis in 2017.
The Zionsville High School standout already has a solid frame, but as he continues to add to it, he will be a tough receiver to match up against. He already knows how to use his body to put himself in a good position during contested catch situations and has a lot of physicality in his game. He also has the straight-line speed to be a very real deep threat. While UW is loaded at the slot wide receiver spot, Hilton could be in the mix for early playing time as a boundary receiver.
