WVU Football Scores Commitment From Charlotte Transfer DB

To continue the love from the spring game, the WVU football program gained a commitment from another key recruit Sunday morning, and this time it’s a transfer player.

Charlotte transfer CB Dontez Fagan announced his commitment to West Virginia on X (Twitter).

Fagan (6-foot, 175 pounds) recorded 21 tackles and one interception last season for the 49ers. West Virginia jumped at the chance to offer Fagan when he entered the transfer portal on April 25. He then visited the program officially the same weekend of that week.

He now adds more depth to the WVU secondary.
