WWE has been on fire with their PPVs. Not only have they locked up a streaming deal, but in the constant sell-outs, the shows have been. It is not just in the United States, but internationally as well. WWE’s latest show, Clash in Paris, is next on the PPV schedule, and it is an intriguing show. However, it’s interesting to note that the show is far from being a sellout.
Before looking at the current ticket status, it is important to address the when and where of this show. Obviously, the Clash in Paris show will be taking place in Paris, France. This is the first PPV in WWE that is occurring in France since the 2024 Backlash show. That show had such an electric crowd, and Jey Uso’s entrance on that show is one of the greatest of all time.
As for when this show will take place, since it’s an international show, it will be much earlier for those in America. It will take place on August 31, 2025, and will go live at 11 am PT and 2 PM ET.
This is always intriguing in general, with WWE often labeling their shows as sellouts. Well, according to Dave Meltzer of the Wrestler Observer Newsletter, he stated the following: “Clash in Paris PLE is far from sold out. The word among French fans is that they bought tickets last year to the show in Lyon (which did sell out at very high prices but in a much smaller building). We were told many were not willing to spend that kind of money on tickets again.”
It is hard to blame the fans, as the ticket prices are tremendous nowadays. Look at Wrestlepalooza, there are tickets for ringside being sold for $6,000, and it’s ridiculous. It’s hard to go to these shows with the prices.
There is still another week away before this event hits. Much can change in that time frame, and knowing WWE under the TKO ownership, they will do anything they can to secure that money. They are determined, and with WWE’s great marketing and creative direction, there will be plenty of options to drive fans to go to their shows, especially an International one like this one.
