Adam Scott is not only drawing attention for his play during the U.S. Open but his unique outfit choice as well. Like other PGA Tour events, Scott's hat and shirt at the US Open have the same red logo, but some fans are not familiar with the golfer's sponsor choice.
Scott is not only a top golfer but an astute businessman. On Scott's website, the golfer list the following three sponsors as his main partners: UNIQLO, Rolex and Titleist.
As for the distinct red logo on Scott's shirt and hat, the golfer's apparel is made by the brand UNIQLO. Scott and UNIQLO have had a lengthy partnership dating back to 2013.
"Drawn to Adam's authenticity and character, he became our first UNIQLO GLOBAL BRAND AMBASSADOR as a golf professional, in 2013," UNIQLO details on their website.
"Just a few days after the announcement, Adam won the 77th Masters Tournament, one of the most prestigious events in golf! Furthermore, he stepped onto the course in full UNIQLO apparel, which was available for purchase in stores and proving the clothes' functionality could meet the demands on the golf course."
For those unfamiliar with UNIQLO, it is Japanese apparel brand. In addition to Scott, Roger Federer is also a UNIQLO ambassador.
Scott has done quite well for himself both on and off the course. The veteran golfer has 14 wins, including a major title after securing a Masters green jacket in 2013.
Scott has earned more than $69 million over his career, per PGA Tour. This puts him near the top of the career earnings list at No. 8, ahead of stars like Justin Thomas and Jordan Spieth.
With business deals like the one Scott has with UNIQLO, the golfer's endorsement earnings are continuing to rise as well.
