Bryson DeChambeau has been one of the most successful golfers in the world over the past few years.

His profile has only grown since making the move from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf in 2022, and he’s now one of the sport’s top three attractions, alongside Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy.

Over the past year and a half, DeChambeau’s form has been hard to ignore.

He earned his spot on the US Ryder Cup team despite playing only eight qualifying events, an impressive feat that speaks to how well he’s performed during that span.

And US captain Keegan Bradley has said that DeChambeau has become a real presence behind the scenes for this year’s team too.

What Bryson DeChambeau’s caddie earned during his final year on the PGA Tour

According to Forbes, DeChambeau has already made $45 million in 2025 and ranks eighth among the highest-paid golfers this year.

He was a prominent figure in 2021 as well. Nine months after his US Open win at Winged Foot, he added another title at Bay Hill and made 20 cuts from 22 starts on the PGA Tour.

During that season, while still playing on the PGA Tour, DeChambeau spoke about how much he paid his caddie during an appearance on the Full Send Podcast.

The two-time US Open winner explained: “Depending on how you play. If you miss the cut, you are still paying him a flat rate. If you make the cut and finish top 20, you would make a certain percentage and then it gets amped up when I finish top 10 and then when I win it’s 10%.”

He continued: “But think about the caddies on the Korn Ferry Tour. When players aren’t making any money. Sometimes the caddies make more than the players because they’re being paid a flat rate even when there’s not much prize money coming in.”

The conversation then turned to whether he ever had disagreements with his caddie. DeChambeau replied: “All the time. Every player is like that. You should see Kevin Na, the interaction between him and his caddie is legendary.”

A look back at Bryson DeChambeau’s final full season on tour

DeChambeau had a strong showing throughout the 2021 PGA Tour season. The Dallas native picked up just under $4 million from those wins alone, meaning his caddie would have taken home close to $400k from those events.

Away from those victories, he managed seven other finishes inside the top10 which brought in around another $3 million or so in prize money – we’ll say each of those paid out around $430k before taxes for simplicity.
