Dylan Dreyer is a pro on-air, but not so much on the green. On November 17, the longtime Today host was seen accidentally hitting one of her NBC cameramen with a stray golf ball.

In a segment airing during the third hour of Today on Monday, the meteorologist was interviewing the Dufferettes -- members of a New Jersey golf club for women. Dreyer picked up a club after speaking with them and started playing a few rounds before things went terribly wrong.

"My balls have been known to go in weird directions," Dreyer says to the camera at one point. She takes a swing and, moments later, the voice of a man off-camera screams out in pain.

Dreyer's face lights up in shock as she grabs her head with her hands -- haphazardly throwing her golf club to the side and walking over to the cameraman. "Good job, Dylan," he says as she stands, seemingly frozen in front of him.

"Are you okay," she asks him after a second, "I am so sorry." Later, one of the Dufferettes jokes, "we are all back in the fairway and everybody's alive." Back in the studio, Dreyer's incident was subject to more jokes from her co-hosts. "Luckily he already had his children," Al Roker says. Without missing a beat, Dreyer responds, "well, I hit his ankle so he was fine either way."

Dreyer continued to share her disbelief to her co-hosts. "There is no physical way for the ball to go that way," she said, "I thought for sure he was safe." Luckily the cameraman, Kellan, sustained no injuries to report on.
