The BMW Championship is headed for its final day after a grueling week. Robert MacIntyre leads the field, showcasing incredible putting at 16-under par, closely followed by Scottie Scheffler at 12-under.

Sunday will decide which golfers move on to the Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club and things look concerning for one fan favorite, Rickie Fowler.

After Saturday, Fowler sits 32nd in the standings with 1,351.792 points—behind Chris Gotterup (1,391.461) and Sungjae Im (1,402.547). To reach the Tour Championship, Fowler needs to finish inside the top 30.

Currently tied for eighth at 6-under par, he’ll need a strong Sunday to earn the FedEx points necessary to secure his spot in the final round of the FedExCup Playoffs.

Fowler made three birdies on Saturday, which improved his chances, but a tough battle still lies ahead.

"Hopefully swing it a little better than today. It was nice to see some putts go in after yesterday." Fowler expressed on Saturday. "Hopefully, just go wear out some fairways and then get the iron play back to where it's been and make some putts, but it sounds a lot easier than it is."

Fowler seems confident of making the cut for the Tour Championship. Hopefully, his wife, Allison, and their daughter, Maya, will provide an extra source of support on Sunday.

"We'll see if we can get things going and hopefully get off to a nice start and just play some good golf tomorrow," Fowler added.
