ESPN Accused Of Showing Bias Against Bryson DeChambeau During Masters

Bryson DeChambeau had an excellent second round at the Masters on Friday, and yet, not many fans were able to witness it.

DeChambeau shot a 4-under 68 to claim second place on the leaderboard heading into the weekend. Although he's one of the biggest names in the sport, ESPN's coverage for the Masters didn't spend much time talking about his performance. Instead, the focus was on Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler.

While there's no way of proving it, golf fans are convinced ESPN snubbed DeChambeau because he no longer represents the PGA Tour. Some people think the network has an anti-LIV Golf agenda.

We've even noticed a few people accusing ESPN of snubbing DeChambeau because of his political beliefs.

"No Masters Bryson DeChambeau featured group on ESPN is a disgrace to professional golf," one fan declared.

"What’s crazy that there was no Masters Bryson DeChambeau featured group on ESPN or in general - huge disgrace to professional golf. Just shows how soft some people are," another fan said.

"I am hearing a lot of speculation about why Bryson DeChambeau was not included in a featured group on ESPN's Masters coverage today," Nick Adams wrote on X. "ESPN is owned by the far left ABC and DeChambeau is known to be a very strong pro-Trump athlete."

ESPN has not released a statement on all the backlash its Masters coverage has received.

With this Saturday's round at Augusta National shaping up to be must-see TV, fans are hoping CBS will show DeChambeau an awful lot.

DeChambeau is in the final pairing for the third round of the Masters. He'll tee off alongside Justin Rose at 2:40 p.m. ET.
