Featured Groups Announced For Open Championship Final Round

With one more day of competition left in The Open Championship final pairings are officially set for what should be an exciting final round.

Scottie Scheffler currently leads the way after a dominant Saturday that has him sitting at 14-under for the tournament but there's still a lot of golf left to be played.

Here's a look at the featured groups for Sunday, according to The Open:

Rasmus Hojgaard & Robert MacIntyre (13:40)
Ludvig Aberg & Kristoffer Reitan (13:05)
Jordan Spieth & Romain Langasque (9:30)
Akshay Bhatia & Jon Rahm (11:10)

Fans reacted to the tournament's announcement on X:

"Featured group again… " an Aberg supporter replied.

"BOOM," a user said.

Scheffler holds a four-shot lead over Li Haotong with one day left; and they're currently trailed by Matt Fitzpatrick, Chris Gotterup, Tyrrell Hatton, Rory McIlroy and Harris English who round out the top five.

It's hard to imagine Scottie would fumble a four-stroke advantage with the way he's been playing lately but crazier things have happened. We'll see who can write their way into history tomorrow.
