At the U.S. Open a couple of weeks ago, Rickie Fowler came very close to winning his first career major event and tallying his first victory of any kind since 2019.
Of course, the final round didn't go according to plan, and the Southern California native ended the day five-over par and tied for fifth on the weekend.
But Fowler has continued to grind, recording the lowest round of his career at the Travelers Championship last weekend before finishing tied for 13th. Now, he has yet another opportunity to top the leaderboard this weekend as the competition shifts to Detroit Golf Club for the 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic.
But do oddsmakers think Fowler has what it takes to end his winless drought in Motor City?

To kick off the week, DraftKings has Fowler listed as one of the favorites to win the Rocket Mortgage Classic at 14-1 odds and is listed at 9-5 to finish in the top 10.
The only golfer with better odds to win the event is defending champion Tony Finau, who is listed at 12-1 to repeat his success.
Other notables in the field include Justin Thomas and Hideki Matsuyama, who are both listed at 16-1. Max Homa and Collin Morikawa are both listed at 18-1, while Tom Kim is listed at 20-1 as he looks for his second victory on the season.
Keegan Bradley, fresh off his victory at the Travelers last weekend, is a 30-1 long shot at DK.
The 2023 Rocket Mortgage Classic tees off on June 29.
