Jena Sims, model, influencer, and wife of LIV Golf’s Brooks Koepka, recently took a trip to the Bahamas and decided to share it with the world. Because if you go on a lavish vacation and don’t post about it, did it even happen? The answer is no, obviously. While the rest of us are figuring out our holiday travel plans, Sims is living it up at the Baha Mar Resort, and she’s got the Instagram stories to prove it.
Of course, a tropical getaway isn’t complete without the obligatory poolside bikini pic. Sims delivered, lounging in a black bikini from Isme Swim, which apparently retails for a cool $84. Later, she was spotted sporting a $298 Amoroso Kimono Set over her swimwear, because why settle for just one expensive piece of beachwear? It’s all about layering, people.
Meanwhile, her husband, Brooks Koepka, is also taking a much-needed break. After the LIV Golf season wrapped up, he’s been laying low. His last notable performance was a T15 finish at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. I guess when you’re a golf superstar, “laying low” means taking fabulous trips to the Bahamas with your equally fabulous wife. Tough life.
This isn’t the first time Jena Sims has made headlines for, well, being in a bikini. She’s been a recurring face in the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue, an achievement she’s clearly proud of. Back in May, she posted a series of photos from a shoot, showcasing everything from a white one-piece to a gold bikini.
In a caption that felt both motivational and a little bit like a humblebrag, Sims wrote, “I worked my ass off for year 2, and not just in the gym… @si_swimsuit is more than just girls in bikinis, it’s inspirational women who are all killing their category.” She added that she’s never felt more “happy, settled, and confident,” which is great to hear. It seems all that hard work paid off, as she was named Rookie of the Year after being selected through the 2023 Swim Search. So, props to her for turning a swimwear contest into a career milestone.
While Sims is busy building her brand and enjoying the fruits of her labor, Koepka is presumably gearing up for the next golf season. His best LIV Golf finish this year was second place at LIV Golf Singapore, so he’s likely got his eyes on the prize for the upcoming tournaments.
For now, though, it seems the power couple is content with soaking up the sun, sharing picture-perfect moments, and reminding the rest of us that some people’s “downtime” looks a whole lot different than ours. And hey, can you blame them? If my job involved looking good in exotic locations, I’d probably be posting about it too. We’ll be keeping an eye out for what they get up to next—whether it’s on the golf course or on a beach somewhere we can’t afford to go.
