Kevin Kisner has odd explanation for liking match play

If you are unfamiliar with pro golfer Kevin Kisner, here's a recent quote of his that may be hard for you to forget.

The PGA veteran and match play specialist made a recent appearance on Barstool's golf podcast Fore Play and had a very interesting response when asked what his favorite part about playing in match play events is ahead of the upcoming Presidents Cup later this month.

"Yeah, I like eating people's souls, man," Kisner said without hesitation. "That's where you can eat people's souls. That's where you can eat people's souls that day."

The South Carolina native went on to explain he uses the term to describe a scenario where he hits a poor drive but then has a nice putt to finish ahead of his match play partner.

"They get so mad at that …" Kisner said with a smirk. "That's called eating their soul."
