Kevin Kisner is set to grace the airwaves as NBC's new lead golf analyst starting next year. This appointment heralds a new era for NBC Golf, bringing the insight of a seasoned tour pro to its weekend coverage, including prestigious events like the U.S. Open, British Open, and Players Championship.

Kisner, stepping into a role previously held by golf broadcasting legends such as Johnny Miller and Paul Azinger, expressed his enthusiasm and gratitude.

“I’m humbled and grateful to have the chance to sit in the seat that many legends...have sat in before me on NBC. I’m looking forward to offering a different voice and adding a new dynamic to the broadcasts," he stated.

Following NBC's parting of ways with Paul Azinger in 2023, Kisner emerged as a fresh yet familiar face in the commentator's booth. Despite the high-profile attempts by European Ryder Cup captain Luke Donald and Brandel Chamblee to secure the lead analyst spot, it is Kisner, with his four PGA Tour victories and honest insights, who has been chosen to carry forward NBC’s legacy in golf broadcasting.

The move to broadcasting doesn't mean Kisner is stepping away from the game as a player. Kisner plans to juggle his new analyst responsibilities with competing on the PGA Tour and participating in the TGL, ensuring he remains deeply embedded in the world of competitive golf. Despite a challenging season where he made 23 starts but missed 17 cuts, Kisner's best finish was a T29 at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship.
