The next thing to monitor is how swiftly the PGA Tour moves to match LIV. PGA Tour commissioner Jay Monahan announced at the end of the year that the PGA Tour would seek a new CEO to oversee the newly formed PGA Tour Enterprises. However, not much has emerged from the PGA Tour regarding potential candidates for the role.

It has been suggested that both tours needed to relieve Norman and Monahan to align and advance toward a unification of professional golf.
